This project involved the development of a series of detailed digital environments designed to support the fast-paced, cinematic tone of the teaser. The environments were initially constructed using 3D layouts geometry built in Maya, providing a structural foundation for the scenes. These layouts were then extensively refined through a 2.5D matte painting approach using with camera-projection techniques, which allowed the visuals to gain additional details, depth, and texture while maintaining full control over camera movement.
The final trailer features approximately thirty shots in which the main character — created and animated by Squeeze Studio — moves through the streets of a sprawling South Korean metropolis. Throughout the sequence, the character faces intense confrontations with heavily armed soldiers, creating a high-energy narrative backdrop. The integration of 3D elements with matte painting work contributed to a polished cinematic look and elevated the visual of the project.
